Before stitch lift only

After stitch lift only by Dr Seit

This method of suture based face lifting was invented by South African plastic surgeon, Dr Des Fenandas. It uses a normal prolene or nylon stitch to anchor the skin along a droopy area and a loop of suture is used fix it to a neighbouring cartilage or the periostium. It has the advantage of no skin removal and can be performed in the clinic setting under local anaesthetics and may take 1-2 hours depending on the number of threads inserted.

The procedure is simple, painless and quick with little swelling or bruising post-operatively. However, this procedure is best indicated for patients with mild droop and little redundant skin. This procedure gives a modest yet natural correction unlike a wind-blown appearence of a full face lift that some patients may get.

Side effects are similar to that of SafFe lift procedure.

Having a facelift doesn't stop the clock. Your face will continue to age with time, and you may want to repeat the procedure one or more times-perhaps five or ten years down the line. But in another sense, the effects of even one facelift are lasting; years later, you'll continue to look better than if you'd never had a facelift at all.
